ADVANCED INTERLAYER SOLUTIONS
30 Hudson Yards, also known as the North Tower, is a supertall skyscraper located in the West Side of Midtown Manhattan, New York City. It's part of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project and sits near popular areas such as Hell's Kitchen, Chelsea, and Penn Station. One of the building's main attractions is its triangular observation deck called The Edge. This deck is situated at 1,100 feet above ground and is the second-highest outdoor observation deck with optically transparent flooring in the world. The Edge is suspended in mid-air, offering visitors a breathtaking 360-degree view of the surrounding area. Moreover, the observation deck includes a cantilevered outdoor terrace that extends 80 feet outward from the building's 100th floor, providing panoramic views of Manhattan and the Hudson River. Finally, the deck features a grand outdoor staircase on its east side. The post-breakage and structural performance of SentryGlas® Clear made it the chosen material for this project.
