Moynihan Train Hall at Penn Station, New York, USA

Moynihan Train Hall is a stunning transformation of the historic Farley Building in New York City, part of the expansion of Pennsylvania Station designed to ease congestion for its 650,000 daily users. This 486,000 sq ft (45,200 m²) project preserves the Beaux-Arts architecture while introducing a modern glass-roofed atrium that fills the hall with natural light.

Over 5,000 m² of laminated glass were used to create an open, light-filled space that highlights the original steelwork of the structure. To ensure long-term performance, SentryGlas® was selected for the glass railings due to its superior edge stability and strength, while Trosifol® UltraClear was used in the glass dome to achieve maximum transparency.
