This is the final report of the two-year research project “Cyclone-Glazing and Façade Resilience for the Asia-Pacific Region” conducted by the international and well recognized CTBUH organization.

The core objective of this study is to overview existing standards and best practices for the design, construction and installation of cyclone-proof curtain walls in cyclone-prone areas in the Asia-Pacific region.

Building projects have been reviewed and the façade designs evaluated. In addition the ongoing research activities being undertaken by the government, industry and academic institutions on this specific topic are briefly discussed and possible future steps are highlighted.
