Roman Lob is Troisdorf's star for Baku

Public screening of the Eurovision Song Contest


"Standing Still" is the title of his song for the Eurovision Song Contest. Chosen by TV viewers, Roman Lob (21) is Germany's representative at this year's song contest in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan. Because Lob works for Kuraray Trosifol in Troisdorf and has already become a town celebrity, the song contest will be publicly screened

at Burg Wissem, Burgallee, Troisdorf-Mitte from 9 pm on Saturday, 26 May 2012.

Admission to the big screen within the castle grounds is free. The doors open at 7:30 pm. The event is being organised by the municipality of Troisdorf in cooperation with Trosifol and with the kind support of Kreissparkasse Köln (savings bank). With his soulful voice, Roman Lob has already participated in "Germany's Got Talent" programme. In the German "Song for Europe" contest, Lob's song picked up the most votes. At Trosifol, he's training to become an industrial mechanic. The municipality wishes him much success and his followers a great evening at Burg Wissem (castle).
