Hurricane protective glazing

Window failure is one of the leading causes of building failure in a hurricane or cyclone. Using Trosifol® PVB or SentryGlas® ionoplast interlayers in windows and commercial glazing systems helps meet tough new building codes in storm-prone coastal zones or wherever added wind or storm protection is called for. Kuraray's Advanced Interlayers helped rewrite building codes in storm zones, by raising protection in glass to a new level. Hurricane impact windows and stiffer, stronger glass envelopes are being used to make buildings safer against threats of hurricanes, cyclones or other severe wind and weather. The stiffer interlayer also contributes to low-deflection glass, ideal for cost-effective "dry glazing" in hurricane zones.
