Laminated Safety Glass Standards Automotive

Laminated safety glass for automotive glazing is subject to a number of worldwide and national standards and codes. The most important standards are subsequently listed. The tests are related partly to these standards and partly to the customary testing of automotive laminated safety glass within the glass industry. The tests are primarily made on windscreen glass specimens, but tests are also being increasingly made on other laminated safety glass, for instance side and rear window glass and special-function glazing.
