TROSIFOL is launching LUMINEO, a new, revolutionary self-luminous PVB film. The new film product achieves its luminous effect with the aid of a special formulation (European patent pending). 

Developed to European standards for safety glass LUMINEO is combinable with other TROSIFOL films to modify optical and acoustic properties. It diminishes the need for extra light sources in public areas for emergency situations, e.g. power failures. 

At the same time LUMINEO satisfies the criteria of the German Lists of Construction Products of the DIBt (German Institute of Construction Technology). Safety certificates to EN 356 and EN 12600 can be supplied on request. A test report on the after-glow properties of LUMINEO is also available (BAM, DIN 67510-4, subclassification A, Ref. VIII 1E 2077 of March 2009 for “Safety routing systems with a long afterglow” such as for emergency exits and escape routes). 
LUMINEO can be employed on façades, roofs, balustrades and balconies and in any glass applications at all, indoors and outdoors.
