Automotive laminated safety glass with TROSIFOL® VG has excellent light transmittance properties in conformity with the requirements of ECE R43 and ANSI Z26.1. The latter standard demands a light transmittance of ≥ 75% for windscreen glazing and ≥ 70% for side and rear window glazing.
Radiation resistance fully complies with the test specified in ECE R43 (solar spectrum 1400 W/m2, ≥ 100 h at max. 50°C (122°F); change in light transmittance ≤ 5% from the initial value). TROSIFOL VG is available in all standard colours and shade band combinations, either refrigerated or with PE interlayer.
